Apple Raisin Stuffing

I've used this stuffing for duck,
I'm sure it would also be good
tasting inside a goose or turkey.

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 onion, peeled and chopped
2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup dark raisins
4 slices day old bread, cubed
2 tablespoons sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup apple cider
water if needed
salt to taste

Directions:
In a skillet, saute until softened the celery
and onion in butter; transfer to a large bowl.
Add the apples, raisins, bread, sugar and salt.
In a small bowl, beat eggs, cider and water.
Pour over bread mixture and toss lightly.
Bake this stuffing inside or outside a bird.
