Black and Blue Steaks

If you are a meat lover you'll love this.
This is by far the best way to cook a steak.
So beefy tasting,tender and satifying,
serve grilled onions and crusty bread along side.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
4 rib eye or strip loin steaks, (about 10 to 14 ounces) each
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Bring the steaks to room temperature.
In a large skillet, melt the butter.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
When the butter is very very hot
and starting to brown, add the steaks.
Cook the steaks for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
You want to almost char the outside of the steak
and have the center cold.
Remove the steaks from the pan
let rest a few minutes before carving
and serve.
