Authentic Southwest Hominy Casserole

This casserole is so tasty and creamy
it goes well with any Spicy main dish
you want to fix along with it.

Ingredients:
1 medium white onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbs cooking oil
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
4 oz can chopped green chiles
1/4 tsp ground cumin
29 oz can Mexican Style Hominy, drained

Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.In a small skillet, cook onion
and garlic in oil until tender.
3.Remove from heat.
4.In a medium bowl, combine onion mixture,
sour cream, half of the cheese, milk, chiles and cumin.
5.Add hominy and mix well.
6.Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
7.Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until heated through.
8.Sprinkle remaining cheese on top
and put back in hot oven for 1 to 2 minutes.
9.Remove from oven and serve immediately.
