Fresh Fig Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing

I love fresh figs and also blue cheese
so one day I put them together in this salad.

Ingredients
1/2 blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonaise
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
8 ripe figs, cut in half
8 pieces endive lettuce, washed
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
To prepare dressing:
Combine with sour cream, vinegar,sugar and mayonaise
add milk to thin the mixture to a sauce consistency.
stir in the crumbled blue cheese.

To make the salad,
slice the figs in half from top to bottom.
Arrange lettuce on a serving platter.
Place figs on lettuce leaves, drizzle
over the blue cheese dressing.
Top with walnuts and black pepper to taste.
