You can tell this recipe for cheese dip is older,
as it lists one ingredient as “salad dressing”
which is how they used to refer to mayonaise.
Looks like a good recipe if you want something
you can “make ahead” and refrigerate.
Ingredients:
8 ounces of Cream Cheese
1/2 of a medium-sized onion, grated (optional)
1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
2 tablespoons of Milk
1-1/2 ounces of very sharp Old English Cheese
3 tablespoons of Salad Dressing (mayonaise)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Serve immediately or chill in refrigerator
in a tightly-closed container
