This butter cookie will melt in your mouth.
You might want to hide them from the kids.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla, blending well.
Blend in flour Chill dough for 45 minutes.
Roll dough 1/4 inch thick and use
cookie cutters to make cookies.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
Cool cookie sheet between batches.
