Ginger Snaps

I like to really put in a lot of ginger
in these cookies for a big ginger taste.

Ingredients:
1 cup molasses
3 teaspoons ginger
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 cup shortening Flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Beat all ingredients together,
using enough flour to make a soft dough.
Roll thin, cut, bake in a moderate oven.
Bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
