Raisin Babka
French Toast

If you happen to have some stale babka,
make use of it in this French toast recipe.
Fried in butter and served with maple syrup.

Ingredients:
6 (1/2") slices stale babka
2 large eggs
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
maple syrup

Directions:
Heat a large saute pan to medium heat.
Whisk together the eggs, water and vanilla.
Dip each slice into egg mixture, turning
to coat each side, drain excess.
Add butter to melt in saute pan.
Place bread slices in
saute pan to brown one side.
Turn and brown other side.
Remove and serve with maple syrup.
