Three Bean Soup

This is a very easy recipe because
you open up the canned beans and
add in a few herbs and seasonings.
It tastes good on a cold winter day.

Ingredients:
2 cups frozen green beans
1 potato, peeled and diced
1 onion, peeled and chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 3/4 cups vegetable broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
5 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 can (16 ounces) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 to 16 ounces) pinto beans, undrained
1 can (15 to 16 ounces) great northern beans, undrained
2 tablespoons prepared pesto

Directions:
Heat all ingredients except pesto
to boiling in 3-quart saucepan; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 25 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Stir in pesto
