Baked Whole Acorn Squash

This is easy and tasty around the Holidays.
You cut open an Acorn squash and bake it.
Sometimes I add in some apricot or orange jam.
Creamy good and you can spice it up if desired.

Ingredients:
1 whole acorn squash
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 teaspoons brown sugar
salt to taste

Directions:
Use a large chefs knife cut the squash in half.
Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
Place squash cut side up in a baking dish.
Place the butter, and brown sugar in the squash.
Sprinkle with salt to taste and bake for 1 hour.
