These are great if you can pick your own
fresh mushrooms but I suspect you will be
buying them from your local grocery,
remember the fresher the better.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh mushrooms, medium sized
3/4 cups extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of celery salt
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Thoroughly clean mushrooms and pat dry.
Combine oil, lemon juice, spices, salt,
and pepper in a bowl with a lid that seals
tightly and whisk until well combined.
Add mushrooms and stir to cover.
Place lid on bowl and refrigerate
for several hours before serving,
preferably overnight.
Stir several times while
the dish is marinating. Serve cold.
