I like snow peas but I like fresh mushrooms even better.
here is a quick recipe i put together using both.
It makes for a nice side dish on a cold winter day.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 small red onion, diced
2 tablespoons of butter
1 8 ounce package of frozen snow peas
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook frozen snow peas according to package directions.
Melt butter in a large skillet, add mushrooms and onions,
and sauté until browned.
Add snow peas to skillet after onion
and mushrooms are cooked,
and add salt and pepper to taste.
