Adding Caramel Flavor to Soup

This is a chef's secret of mine,
it adds a flavor that just can't be matched.
You know it's there but just can't pin it down.
This is especially good in any cream of soup.
Simply drop one caramel candy into the soup.
It will desolve and add a bit of sweet butter
flavor to enhance any soup base you desire.
