I always make home-made lemonaide and
one day didn't have enough white sugar
in the kitchen to sweeten it up with.
So I tried using light brown sugar
and am glad that I did, it's great!
This is Gourmet lemonaide all the way.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
6 cups cold water
Lemon slices for garnish
Fresh mint for garnish
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a large pitcher.
Mix well and serve over ice.
Garnish with lemon slices
and a fresh mint leaf.
Double or triple the recipe as needed.
They say brown sugar is healthier? Anyway, I wonder what color your lemonade turns out. I think I will give your lemonade recipe a go and see for myself. :)
