There was a head of cabbage in the refrigerator
that I thought needed to be cooked up soon.
I made this cabbage apple soup, it came out good.
Ingredients:
1 head cabbage, cut up in small chunks
4 apples,peeled cored and sliced
2 small potatoes,peeled,cut up small
1/2 oinio,peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Water
Directions:
In a large pot heat olive oil and butter,
when butter is melted add onions and potatoes.
Cook and stir until onions just get brown.
Add cabbage and apples.
Add enough water to just cover cabbage.
Cook on low heat until poatoes are done.
About one or two hours.
You might have to add some more water.
Stir in vinager just before serving.
I like to also add some more butter.
