Kielbasa Pepper and Salsa

This was a good lunch time recipe.
It's got kielbasa cut into one inch slices.
A cut up onion and a green bell pepper.
Secret to this recipe is by adding 2 teaspoons
of a medium or mild store store bought salsa.
That added just enough spice to the mix.
Don't add any water to this dish.

Ingredients:
1 package kielbasa
1 onion, cut up
1 green bell pepper, cut up
2 tablespoons of medium salsa
2 tablespoons black pepper

Directions:
In a glass pan add the onion and pepper.
Add in cut up kielbasa and the black pepper.
Then pour in some salsa to tastes.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake on 350 degrees.
for about 40 minutes. Then remove foil and bake,
until staring to get browned, about 20 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.

Pasta & Fagioli

Use a pressure cooker to make this meal.
Pasta, ham and beans with all vegetables.
I put everything in the soup pot and
when the pressure got to be 15 pounds,
turned it down to lower heat for 30 minutes.
This is a good soup for a rainy day.
Serve it with Italian bread and parmesan cheese.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups of cooked smoked ham
1 can of red kidney beans
1 can of tomato plums
1 cup dried soup small pasta
thyme, rosemary, basil, pepper and salt.

Directions:
Add everything into 8 quart soup pot.
When it comes to a pressure turn it down,
and cook it for about 30 minutes.

Burrito Stuffed Cabbage

Burritos with beef and bean wrapped cabbage.
Then cooked in tomato sauce makes for a tasty meal.
The beef and bean is in the place of beef and rice,
making this the all Mexican style stuffed burrito.
You can use an oven to make this,
I used a microwave oven for fastest.

Ingredients:
four frozen beef and bean burritos.
four cabbage leaves
2 cups tomato sauce

Directions:
Unwrap frozen burritos and put inside
a fresh cabbage leaf in a microwave bowl.
Wrap them up and add tomato sauce on top.
Put them into microwave on low setting.
Cook for about 6 minutes until done.



Roasted Sirloin Steak And Vegetables

Roasted in the oven and not in a stove pot.
This is better than cooking in a slow cooker.
Tastes like pot roasted beef along with
potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and the
vegetables don't get all dried up and mushy.
It take about an hour to create this dish.

Ingredients:
1 baking potato
1 whole carrot
1 onion, peeled
1 celery, sliced
2 tablespoons Herbs de Provence
1 whole sirloin steak
4 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 tablespoon red pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place potatoes, onions, carrots, celery,
on the bottom of pot.
Add in seasonings.
Place sirloin steak on top of vegetables.
Pour tomato sauce on steak.
Do not add any water to pan.
Bake for one hour then remove pan.
let sit for 15 minutes before serving.

Roasted Cabbage with Bacon

Cole slaw is getting boring.
This is roasted, golden and buttery slaw.
Adding a few pieces of bacon on top.
Serve this with blue cheese dressing.

Ingredients:
1 half whole cabbage
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 strips of bacon
1 tablespoon black pepper
salt to taste
a few butter slices

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Cut up cabbage into 1 inch pieces.
Add olive oil and black pepper.
Place cabbage on foil and top with bacon.
Roast for 40 minutes.
Add on some butter and enjoy.

Banana And Two Eggs Pancakes

Here is what to make with a banana.
Pancakes that are fluffy and delicious.
It tastes like bananas French toast inside.

Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
2 large eggs
1 dash of vanilla
1 dash of baking powder
maple syrup

Directions:
Make a mash of banana and 2 eggs in a bowl.
Put vanilla and baking powder, mix it up.
Pour two tablespoons into a hot skillet.
Turn over with a spatula and cook other side.
Remove and pour on maple syrup, enjoy.
