My Dad would make this stuffing for the Thanksgiving Day turkey.
This dressing you either like it or don't, i like it a lot.
Ingredients:
15 ounces dry bread crumbs, flavored
1/2 to 3/4 pounds parmasian cheese, grated
1 large egg
giblets from turkey
3 cups water
salt to taste
olive oil for pan frying
2 garlic cloves,minced
water
Directions:
In pan bring water to a boil,
add whole giblets that you removed
from the turkey and cook for about ten minutes,
remove from pan and let giblets cool.
Grind giblets in food processor to a fine crumb.
In a heated suatee pan put olive oil
and cook the garlic two minutes.
Add the giblets to brown.
In large bowl mix cheese,egg,water,bread crumbs
then add cooked giblets, mix all well.
After washing and seasoning the turkey
stuff with this dressing.
Bake turkey until done, r
emove dressing to a serving dish.
This dressing can also be cooked
outside the bird in a covered casserole dish.
