This is the best onion soup recipe ever.
Ingredients:
3 onions,peeled and sliced
1/4 cup butter
2 14-oz cans beef broth
1 14-oz can chicken broth
salt and pepper
Directions:
Peel the onions and cut into 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick rings.
Place the butter and onions in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until the onions begin to brown.
Add beef and chicken broth.
Let simmer for 30 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
