Oven Deep Fried Potatoes

Oven fried potatoes can be every bit as irresistible
as their greasy deep fried counterpart if you
prepare them for the deep oven baking properly.

Ingredients:
4 russet potatoes,rinsed
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
I like to peel the potatoes
semi circled leaving some peel on.
cut the potatoes into 6 lengthwise long wedges.
In a bowl combine the potatoes, oil, salt
and cayenne pepper,
place in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake in hot until golden brown
and cooked through, about 30 minutes.
Slip a spatula under the potatoes to turn
them over and cook for 5 minutes more.
Transfer potatoes to a serving dish
season with salt and serve immediately.
