Grilled Tenderloin Steak with Gorgonzola Butter

Slices of beef tenderloin are also know as filet mignon.
Serve this tender cut topped with zesty gorgonzola butter
for a melt in your mouth, gourmet meal at home.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
4 beef tenderloin steaks

Directions:
Preheat gas or charcoal grill.
Place butter, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper in medium bowl,
beat until smooth. Fold in gorgonzola cheese. Set aside.
Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
Place steaks on oiled grill over medium hot coals
or medium heat on a gas grill.
Cook steaks 16 to 18 minutes for medium-rare,
turning once during cook time.
Transfer steaks to individual serving plates
or serving platter; let rest 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve topped with a dollop of prepared gorgonzola butter.
Garnish with fresh chopped chives if desired.
