Indonesian food comes from many sources of
ingredients and spices, from various kinds
of chilies, ginger, shallot, turmeric to
coconut milk, combining those natural spicy
ingredients provides you unique dishes
from Indonesia, the islands of spices.
Ingredients:
1 whole 4-pound salmon
1/4 pound boiled shelled shrimps, cut into pieces
1 green onion, finely minced
1/2 cup peanut satay sauce
4 thin slices lime
Dirctions:
Bone salmon.
Into a bowl, mix together minced green onion,
shrimp pieces and 1/4 cup peanut satay sauce.
Stuff fish with mixture secure with a string.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high.
Generously oil rack.
Lay fish over rack barbecue for 10 minutes.
If fish sticks to the rack,
it is not done turn only when done.
Delicately turn fish barbecue for 10 minutes more.
When done, delicately remove fish
from barbecue brush fish with remaining sauce.
Immediately garnish the barbecued salmon with lime slices.
Serve.
