Spiderweb cake is an easy and fun recipe for Halloween.
You can make the spiderweb on any size cake.
Just draw the web using black decorator gel
icing in any shape you want.
Ingredients:
One 9-inch cake layer, any flavor OR any size cake, baked and cooled
1-2 tubs prepared vanilla frosting
1 tube black decorator gel frosting

Directions:
Bake cake as directed and cool completely.
Place on serving plate. Frost evenly on
top and sides with the white frosting.
Hold the gel frosting like you would a
pencil and draw concentric rings on the cake.
Place the circles in the center of the cake
or make several webs in the cake corners.
Use a toothpick to draw through the gel frosting,
first from the center out to the edges,
then from the edges into the center, alternating directions.
