This easy recipe is a tasty baked
rendition of a cheesy cannelloni.
A red sauce makes it a complete meal,
it can be made at least a day in advance.
Ingredients:
24 oz. chunky red pasta sauce
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup dry white wine
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup feta cheese
2 tsp. dried basil
16 large pasta shells, cooked and set aside
Directions:
Pour pasta sauce, mushrooms, and white wine
into a saucepan and bring to a boil Stir until bubbling,
then leave to simmer for 8-10 minutes.
Spoon into a baking dish,
and reserve 1 cup for the topping.
