I like the Pepperidge Farms cookies and thought I could do better.
Dare I say this recipe is a gift from the Angels in Heaven.
I used the best ingredients in this one, no skimping in this recipe!
This is an adult chocolate chip cookie, hide it from the kids.
Let them munch on those awful Famous Amos cakes of sugar.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened, not margerine!
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large brown shelled eggs
2 teaspoons real vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup gourmet semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup super sweet white cocolate chips
1 cup chopped fine walnuts
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream together the butter and sugars fr a good five minutes.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Dissolve baking soda in hot water.
Add to batter along with salt.
Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment paper lined sheets.
Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven,
or until edges are nicely browned.
Let cool and hide them in a tightly secured area.
