Tomato Broiled
with Parmesan

These are a great summer side dish
especially with vine ripe tomatoes.

Ingredients:
8 medium tomatoes, not overripe
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
parsley
salt to taste
pepper
dill

Directions:
Wash and stem tomatoes.
Cut in half, set skin-side down in a greased baking dish.
Mix together bread crumbs, brown sugar, butter, parsley,
salt, pepper and dill, then top each tomato
with 1 tablespoon of the mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F. until bubbly,
then broil for 1 minute to brown tops.
