I remember when microwave ovens first
came out and at the time we were very
afraid of putting anything metal in them.
I also tried to cook everything in them.
Whole eggs simply exploded on me,
popcorn wouldn't pop even in a bag.
I'm glad someone figured it out.
This is a recipe to make a tasty Italian
crunchy snack with a little flavor boost.
I like this with Real creamery butter.
Ingredients:
100-calorie pack of microwave popcorn
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. oregano
butter to taste
salt to taste
Directions:
Pop popcorn in microwave.
Empty into medium bowl,
pour on the butter and salt,
and top with oregano and cheese.
