I take fresh basil and freeze it one
tablespoon at a time in an ice cube tray.
This is an ideal way to preserve basil
when using it for pasta sauces.
The whole ice cube can be added.
Pick fresh basil early in the morning
for best and sweetest basil oil flavor.
