Fig Newton's are a good cookie,
toasting them makes them great!
This is an easy recipe to do and
brings a Good cookie up to Best!
Ingredients:
Fig Newton's cookies
Unsalted butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
On a baking sheet arrange the
Fig Newton's in a single layer.
Pick up each cookie and spread
a bit of butter on the bottom,
replace to baking sheet,
buttered side down.
Repeat until all the cookies
have been buttered.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or
until top of cookies are toasted.
Let cool before serving.
