Basic White Wine Sauce

This is one of my go-to sauces I use
to jazz up a boring plate of pasta.
It's good with chicken and fish,
easy to make and you can spice it up
with cayanene pepper if you want to.

Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1 teaspoon dried parsley

Directions:
In a medium saucepan over medium high heat,
combine the cream, wine, flour, salt and parsley.
Stir all together bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened.
