This isn't your typical Chinese
Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce,
but more like something you'd
get at a McDonalds restaurant.
It's great with chicken tenders.
Ingredients:
12 oz. peach preserves
12 oz. apricot preserves
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup + 2 Tbs. white vinegar
2 Tbs. cornstarch
2 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. yellow mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup water
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients
in a food processor and
puree until completely smooth.
Pour the mixture into a medium
sauce pan and bring to a boil
on medium high heat.
Boil for 5 minutes,
while stirring constantly.
When the sauce has thickened,
remove it from the heat and
let it cool completely.
Store the sauce in an
air tight container
in the refrigerator.
