Applesauce Onion Barbecue Sauce

This sauce is great tasting on pork.
I even like to cut up some hot dogs
and through them in while heating it.

1 cup thinly sliced onion
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 cup ketchup
2 cup plain applesauce
1 teaspoon salt or to taste

Directions:
Place onions and butter in a deep,
1 1/2-quart, heat- resistant,
non-metallic casserole.
Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven
2 minutes or until onion is tender.
Add lemon juice, worcestershire sauce,
ketchup, applesauce and salt.
Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven
7 minutes or until sauce is bubbly.
