Homemade Fresh Butter

Making butter is super easy to do.
It tastes much better than store
bought and you can adjust the salt.

2 cups heavy or whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
cold water

Pour cream into a cold mixing bowl.
Whip or process for 10 minutes,
or until the butter separates.
Strain off the liquid.
Season to taste with salt.
Press butter with your hands to
remove butter milk liquid.
Rinse with cold water and drain.
Store refrigerated or not.
