This makes one of the best tasting and flavorful
pulled pork for sandwiches I've ever had.
You cook the pork slowly in a crock pot.
This is very seriously good eating.
Ingredients:
1 boneless pork roast
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons bacon drippings
Directions:
Wash and trim fat off pork if desired.
Place pork fat side up in a 6-quart slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl combine Onion, corn starch,
sugar, mustard,salt, pepper, garlic powder,
cayenne, ketchup, worcestershire, and drippings.
Pour over pork in crock pot. Cover;
cook on Low heat setting 6 to 8 hours.
When done remove and shred into pulled pork.
