Roasted Chick Peas

Coated with cinnamon and sugar these
roasted garbanzo beans are a treat.
An inexpensive and healthy snack.

Ingredients:
1 (15oz. can) chickpeas, drained
1 tablespoon tahini paste
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Rinse and thoroughly dry chick peas.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Toss dried beans with tahini paste first
to coat and then sprinkle cinnamon sugar
and mix until all are coated.
Spread chick peas out onto baking
sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes,
stirring every 5 minutes or so.
