You can also make this dish with green beans,
it's a good dish using a crock pot or slow cooker.
It takes a few hours and the result is amazing.
6 slices smoked bacon
6 cups cold water
1 pound fresh sugar snap peas
dash of brown sugar
dash of ground black pepper
dash of garlic powder
dash of onion powder
In a large saute pan crisp up the bacon.
Then add into a sauce pan the snap peas,
cold water, sugar, pepper and powders.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low,
Simmer covered for about 2 hours or until done.
