When I was young I'd listen to the radio,
waiting for them to air my favorite songs.
Grandma in the background singing along.
She put together this really simple salad.
It works well with any fresh leafy greens.
She even made this using dandelion greens.
One of her best salads was with watercress.
Ingredients:
fresh salad greens
rendered bacon grease, warm
Directions:
In a bowl mix the greens with the bacon grease.
Serve garnished with cheese, pepper as desired.
