French Fried Apple Slices

Using Granny Smith tart apples is best.
The stay firm and crisp when frying.
Serve with an apple sauce for dipping.

Granny Smith apples
Oil for frying
Ground cinnamon
Applesauce for dipping

Peel and core apples into slices.
Dredge in cornstarch and fry in
oil until lightly browned all over.
Drain on paper towels and season
with some ground cinnamon sugar.
Serve with apple sauce dip sauce.
