This is not the ones you see in the stores.
Not ones that look mass produced in squares.
The potatoes are missed shaped in such a way
as to make you say, how did you do that ?
My Grandmother used to make this this way >
Ingredients:
6 russet potatoes
1 teaspoon salt for water
1/2 onion, minced
1/2 dried chives
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 or 2 teaspoons brown mustard
1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing
1/2 cup Real Mayonnaise
Directions:
Peel the potatoes, not all of the peels.
Cut them up about 4 inches in length.
Place the potatoes in a soup bowl.
Cover with cold water.
Heat on medium for 30 minutes.
To a sauce pan mix onions,
and chives with salt and black pepper.
When the potatoes are done remove them into the sauce pan.
Let them sit to cool down.
In about 30 minutes, use a kitchen shears to cut them up.
I just use this to cut the up in serving pieces.
I put the potatoes in a serving bowl.
Then add mustard, Miracle whip and Mayonnaise.
Add the onions and chives to the mix.
Mix it up and then put on a serving bowl.
Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving.
