This came out really good.
Had some left over cooked Rib Eye Steaks,
and decided to make a pasta sauce with it.
We had it on spaghetti.
Olive oil bottom of pan, then add all ingredients
1/2 cup red Zinfandel wine
1 1/2 cups canned imported Italian plum tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
2 cups water.
1 diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
2/3 cup chopped celery
2/3 cup chopped carrot
1/2 pound ground beef
leftover steak diced
dried thyme
dried oregano
some fresh rosemary
salt and black pepper
Cook on low for three hours
stir often and adjust seasonings.
