Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes

Some people think that cherry tomatoes are only to be eaten
raw by the handful or tossed into salads,
one year we had so many I decided to fry some.
They can be sauteed quite successfully to sweet perfection.
They are typically sweeter and more flavorful than
any of the larger tomatoes.

Ingredients:
Really ripe cherry tomatoes
Extra virgin olive oil
1-2 teaspoons sugar
1-2 cloves garlic,peeled and crushed
Salt

Instructions:
Wash and dry the tomatoes, put oil in pan with garlic.
Place tomatoes in pan and sautee in oil
over medium heat making them dance in the pan.
Shake pan from time to time.
Add a teaspoon or two of sugar (depending on their ripeness)
to intensify the tomatoes flavor, carmelize them some.
Remove from pan, add salt to taste.
