Cabbage Ginger Ale Borscht

I know what your thinking, but sometimes you just
have to try a strange recipe or two just because.
This one I came up with after watching a tv show
about the fine foods of the Slavic nations.

Ingredients:
2 medium size cabbages
2 lbs. stewing beef cut in 1" cubes
1 2 liter size ginger ale soda
1 32oz. ketchup
32 ounces water

Directions:
Slice cabbages very thin.
Put remaining ingredients in a large
enough pot to hold sliced cabbage.
Cook about 2 hours or until meat
is completely cooked.
Do not season with salt or pepper
as this borscht soup has a
delightful sweet and sour flavor.
