Classic Chocolate Wafer Roll

This no-bake dessert is a Quick and Simple favorite.

Ingredients:
1 pint(s) (2 cups) whipping cream
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 package(s) (9-oz.) package chocolate wafer cookies,
such as Nabisco’s Famous Chocolate Wafers
(optional) chocolate shavings, for garnish

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, whip the cream
with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
Add the vanilla and continue to whip until peaks are stiff.
Spread 11/2 tsp. of the whipped cream onto each wafer.
Stack them one on top of the other into about a 14-inch tower.
Lay the stack carefully on its side on a serving platter to make a log.
Frost with the remaining whipped cream and refrigerate
at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings, if you like.
Cut diagonally into slices; store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
