Deep Fried Smokey Pineapple Rings

Using sweet smoked paprika balences the flavor of
the pineapple and frying it adds another demension.
These are great served along with a baked ham.
You can use pineapple from a can, you cheater!

Ingredients:
1 fresh pineapple,peeled, cored and sliced
2 cups flour, about
2 tablespoons sweet smoked paprika
oil for frying

Directions:
In a bowl combine flour and paprika,
Place pineapple slices
one at a time in flour mixture
coat all sides shaking off excess.
Heat oil to 360 degrees F.
Drop pineapple slices
in oil a few at a time.
turning if needed to brown all sides.
Remove to paper towels to drain.
Serve warm.
