One day I had the idea to take a potato peeler to
a chunk of store bought mozzarella cheese.
I used to always cut it up using a chef's knife.
No more! Now I use a potato peeler to shave thin
pieces off the cheese to go on whatever recipe
it is that I am using fresh mozzarella cheese in.
You'll be surprised at the small amount of cheese
that is needed to get the same results on a dish.
Try it, it adds just the right amount of cheese
with little waste at all.
I also use the peeler to shave already peeled
carrots into a fresh green garden salad.
