A few herbs added to improve flavor.
Cooked yams or sweet potatoes
can be used instead of taro.
Ingredients:
2 cups flaked tuna fish, canned or freshly cooked
1/2 cup celery, diced (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1/2 cup cooked peas or beans
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 hard-boiled eggs
4 - 6 lettuce leaves
Directions:
Remove the bones from the fish.
Mash the taro.
Combine together in a bowl tuna fish,
celery, onion, and cooked peas or beans.
Mix carefully, do not to break
the fish into too small pieces.
Serve the Tuna Fish Salad on lettuce leaves.
Garnish with sliced eggs
