The smooth, velvety richness of melted Brie cheese
is complemented beautifully by sweet and tart cranberry sauce.
Grill it on some sourdough bread slices and you
have a hot sandwich fit for a king!
You could use blueberry chutney,
or apricot preserves in place of the
cranberry sauce if you'd like.
Ingredients:
8 ounces Brie cheese, diced
1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
8 slices sourdough bread
1/4 cup butter, softened
Directions::
To easily dice the Brie, place it in the freezer
for 10-15 minutes until firm, then dice.
Combine in medium bowl with cranberry sauce; toss gently.
Make sandwiches with the Brie mixture and the bread.
Spread butter on outsides of sandwiches,
then cook on a griddle or panini maker until the bread
is toasted and golden brown and the cheese melts.
Serve immediately.
