Brown Sugar Bourbon Butter Glaze

Use this great tasting bourbon glaze
on grilled steaks right of the heat.
It's also great as a flavored sweetener.
Keep in the refrigerator until used.
Reheat over low heat before using.

Ingregients:
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup bourbon
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sweet smoked paprika

Directions:
In a saucepan melt the butter over medium heat.
Add cider,sugar,lemon juice,paprika,salt,and pepper.
Increase the heat to high and bring to a boil.
Boil until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in the bourbon.
Pour into sealable glass container.
