Buttery Crumb Sugar Cookies

I made this recipe today and was really pleased with it.
The cookies came out crisp yet not so that they were hard.
The edges browned nicely while the insides stayed soft.

Ingredients:
1 stick unsalted butter
5 tablespoons sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups flor
1/2 teaspoon aking powder

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In mixing bowl cream butter for two minutes.
Add sugar and cream another two minutes.
Add egg and vanilla, mix in flour and baking powder
Place by teaspoonfuls on a
parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
Bake about 12 minutes or until
the edges of the cookies are just brown.
