Ingredients:
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla
1 Tsp. salt
3 1/4 cups oats(any brand)
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 cup flour
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Cream shortening in large bowl, add sugars,
beating until well blended.
Beat in egg, vanilla & water.
Stir in remaining ingredients
and drop by Teaspoonful onto well greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F. until golden, about 15 min. Makes 5 dozen.
