Spaghetti,Olive Oil and Parsley

Sometimes the simpliest recipes are the best.
Be sure and use fresh herbs in this dish.
You can substitute any season al fresh herb
for the fresh parsley in this sauce.
If you like it hot, add hot pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
1/2 cup sliced fresh basil

Directions:
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until al dente.
Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.
Return the spaghetti to the pot and add oil, parsley,
reserved cooking liquid, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, basil.
Bring to a simmer, toss well, and serve immediately.
